We have a deal!

Thank you to all the hardworking members of the WGA negotiating committee, strike captains, lot coordinators, and WGA staff for putting all their blood, sweat (đŸ„” #hotlaborsummer), and tears into securing this deal. While I’m glad the #WGAStrike is over, I will sincerely miss seeing everyone’s friendly faces on the picket lines. It was a joy to catch up with old friends and make some new ones — please keep in touch! Thank you to all the #SAGAFTRAStrong and other union members for marching alongside us, we will continue to stand and fight with you. Finally, thank you to all the family and friends for your continuous love and support. Sorry to my wife, looks like I’m back to being a couch potato. 😋 #WGAStrong #unionsolidarity

Okay, maybe forget that last quote. Onto the big news… I am thrilled to announce that after years of hustlin’, I am joining the writing staff of “FRESH OFF THE BOAT!”

As a comedy writer and the son of Chinese immigrants, working on FOTB is a dream come true and I look forward to keepin’ it real for all my yellow fellows out there, both on screen and off.
